Connect your Grok account​

  • Create an account in https://x.ai/.
  • Sing in with your X AI account and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Go to your dashboard.
  • On the VSCode CodeGPT Extension, change the model on the chat.

  • Pick the LLMs Cloud model and select Grok as Provider.

  • Select a model, such as grok-beta.

  • Paste API Key here, and click Connect.

  • Click outside the options and ask to chat.

Remove or edit Key

To remove your API Key from CodeGPT, click on Change connection settings button.
