Google AI Studio is a browser-based IDE tailored for prototyping with generative models. Users can swiftly experiment with various models and prompts within Google AI Studio.

Connect your Provider account​

  • Create an account in Google AI Studio.
  • Create a new project to attach the API Key.
  • Generate and copy the API Key.
  • On the VSCode CodeGPT Extension, change the model on the chat.

  • Pick the LLMs Cloud model and select Google AI Studio as Provider.

  • Select a model, for instance, gemini-1.5-flash-latest.

  • Paste API Key here, and click on Connect.

  • Click outside the options and ask to chat.

Remove or edit Key

To remove your API Key from CodeGPT, click on Change connection settings button.
